| DESIGN NAME: White Residence PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: Mediocrity. But more free. Alone. But peaceful. White residence. More clear. Kindness flow like clean water, such elegant. We left the blank for you, in a hustle and bustle place. You can look up the skyline that you haven't seen in a long time. The greenery like a warm feeling, flowing in the residence where we regarded as the container, pouring into the warm place where people living here. All things begin with one brick. It was been interweaved and stacked became a space, home. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project abandons traditional housing planning. The entrance facing south, can let the house with the cozy south wind in summer, and also obstruct the cool northeast monsoon. Each unit's patios have its small yard, it can plant trees, and take a rest. This way can let people see the green outdoor plants in the lobby. In addition, the patio makes every elevation requires light. In other words, it can provide the natural winds into the interior. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The entrance facing south, can let the house with the cozy south wind in summer, and also obstruct the cool northeast monsoon. Each unit's patios have a small yard, it can plant trees, and take rest. This way can let people see the green outdoor plants in the lobby. In addition, the patio makes every elevation requires light. In other words into the interior. Building the coexistence between humans and nature. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The building is with the design of the RC structure and the cantilever structure is applied in the second floor in order to expand the available using area in the limited space. Using STO outdoor energy-saving paint to struggle for better ability of adjustment to the weather. The ventilation system is credited to the patio in the middle of the building and the windows in each unit. It keeps the ventilation at a certain level and efficiently decreases the demand of air conditioning systems. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Two houses /Site area: 198.36 square meters /Total floor space: 396.72 square meters /Number of the floor: Four floors TAGS: Green building, Nature, Patio, White, Leisurely, Ventilation, Sunlight, yard, , Original RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In this case, the existing residential buildings around the base are relatively closed and away from sunlight. We hope to create a residence with visible light everywhere through a living atmosphere with low environmental consumption and full of sunshine, that's also the philosophy we focus on. We will continuously build houses with such conditions for our clients in this place, we also hope that through this operation, the idea of green life can be presented to potential clients in this area. CHALLENGE: The most challenging part is that the plot is long and narrow, so it is necessary to find out how to maximize the efficiency of the living area. We adopted the two L-shaped configuration to solve the first challenge.This configuration makes every spaces have an outdoor window view, so that they can really contact with nature and have good ventilation, the "contacting with nature" here, not just touching the plants, It's the feeling of letting a breeze and sunshine come in ,and living with us.
