| DESIGN NAME: Dual core deep pinch massage cushion PRIMARY FUNCTION: Massaging Chair INSPIRATION: The design team has specially designed a new massage track for the shoulder and neck rollers on the Back Massager, which significantly increases the massaging comfortability and allows the shoulder and neck massage height to be adjusted at will to meet the needs of different users. The low colorful, and stable tone of the exterior design, along with the breathable kneading mesh and diamond pattern leather texture, makes the massage apparatus a fashionable household. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design team used the massaging core with professional rubber massage rollers to provide some cushioning while deep conduction massage, significantly increasing the massaging comfort. To eliminate the public idea that it is difficult to massage accurately, the design team uses the patented technology of height adjustment of the shoulder and neck rollers to enable the rollers to precise massage sore muscle areas. It greatly facilitates the user experience of different body types. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In the modern developed commercial society era, long-time standing, sitting, or any activities bring about muscle pains that are severe to people. The design team is committed to the full-body massage chair functions, concentrated in the massage chair cushion, even smaller massaging equipment, and getting a perfect massaging experience with a smaller volume to meet the storage needs. Its sophisticated, high-quality design also makes the massage chair cushion a fashionable single product in home spaces. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in December 2020 in Taiwan. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: To enable the rollers to massage more profound into the sore muscle parts, the design team matched the massage rollers made of professional rubber on the core of the massaging machine to cushion appropriately. While breathable kneading soft cloth provides users with a deep and gentle massaging experience. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: To achieve the designing goal of precise massaging and to provide a common comfort experience for users of different body types, the team uses the industry first patented Long Track Movement Technology. It allows the shoulder and neck rollers to be adjusted up and down conveniently and freely according to the user’s body type. This technology allows the massage cushion to serve people from a height range of 150cm to 190cm, significantly improving the breadth of service targets. TAGS: Long Track Movement Technology, shoulder and neck roller height adjustment, high-quality leather, lively feeling RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The team uses Long Track Movement Technology and shoulder and neck roller height adjustment to make the rollers accurately massage the sore muscles. The long track adjustment also enables different body types to experience consistent comfort; the massaging core with the massage rollers made of professional rubber adds a little buffer to the massage force with a gentler touch yet powerful experience. Using dark blue and gray as the leading color tone creates a calm and quiet resting atmosphere, with high-quality leather and diamond mesh, which embellishes a lively feeling in the quietness. CHALLENGE: Since the design takes conveniently serving users of all body types as the essential goal, the Long Track Movement Technology is used for the design. However, once the massage track gets longer, it will increase the machine's weight and eventually lead to the massage rollers' problem not running smoothly. For this reason, they went through many proofs and tests. Finally, the stable and durable long track was applied to this product.
