| DESIGN NAME: Pocket massage gun PRIMARY FUNCTION: Massaging Guns INSPIRATION: Since the massage guns in 2018 and 2019 were too heavy and the grip wasn't suitable for human habits, which eventually led to arm, shoulder, and neck pains, the design team went through many proofs and tests to address this problem. The team completed the latest Beauty Pocket Massager with the modeling purpose of compactness and beauty. It is expected to provide users with a more comfortable, convenient, and burden-free massaging experience. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To maintain the compact and delicate characteristics of the product, reduce the weight of the massage gun to 350 grams. With the latest gravity-sensitive technology to enhance the massaging technique, users can relax their sore and tired muscles; uses five types of massaging heads to achieve different effects: the round head is suitable for massaging thighs, flat head is commonly used for relaxing various muscles areas, tapered head impacts deep muscle tissues, U-shaped head is used to massage the calves. Also launched an oil rubbing head to relax the body both large and small muscles. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: To let both men and women, young and old, enjoy the massaging experience without any difference. The design team has deliberately removed the stereotype that massage guns are more masculine and rigid in the past, using matte material and low-profile Morandi color to create a fashionable appearance that contemporary people generally love. All social groups can widely accept the product. In addition, there are five different types of massaging heads to solve the muscle fatigue brought about by modern civilization suitably. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in August 2020 in Taipei. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: To fulfill the massaging needs of different muscle groups, they specially designed five different massage gun heads, namely round head, flat head, tapered head, and U-shaped head. The design team pays attention to the touch brought by the massage gun to the user, using matte baking lacquer material to achieve a more skin-friendly and gentle touch. The Beauty Pocket Massager was made to be more qualitative. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The design team specially equipped the latest gravity sensing technology on the product to solve the problem of the massage gun downtime due to excessive resistance in the market. The more excellent the resistance, the gravity sensing will correspond to the massaging force, which effectively solves the problem of the massage gun's downtime and provides users with a more robust and deep massage experience. TAGS: modern, low-profile, fashionable, vintage Morandi color RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design team carried out a stylish, lightweight, and easy storage ability design and reduced the massage gun to 350 grams. Finished the massage gun with both appearance and function after numerous setbacks. The four speeds are 1600, 1800, 2000, 2200 rpm, achieving the effects of gentle warming, relaxation of the fascia, lactic acid decomposition, and pain relief; the head has a round, flat, tapered, U-shaped, and oil massaging head to thoroughly massage different tired muscles. CHALLENGE: The Beauty Pocket Massager is designed with the purpose of massage power and the user feeling in mind and uses it as the axis to create a light, exquisite, fashionable product appearance. However, when the massage product shrinks, it will encounter lower motor power output, which will affect the user massaging experience. Therefore, the design team has repeatedly revised and tried to find the problems, and after numerous experiments, they finally completed the massaging product with both beauty and power.
