| DESIGN NAME: Ensemble Table PRIMARY FUNCTION: Modular Smart Home System INSPIRATION: After the new crown epidemic, the table, as a basic element in the home, should adapt to the new normal. It should meet more needs and offer more possibilities.For example, the function of light and musicThe table as a plane for work operation controls the area where people move in the space. Due to the epidemic, people work at home and often work at a table for a long time, but we also need to rest when we work, so different size planes are sitted in the space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The table becomes the control center of sound in the space, not only to play music but also to absorb it, making the space quiet or lively.The table as a plane for work operation controls the area where people move in the space. Due to the epidemic, people work at home and often work at a table for a long time, but people also need to rest when they work, so different size planes in the space to carry different functions, which can realize the decentering of the table. It also allows people to use the whole space more evenly. During the epidemic, or when people work from home, people may be sitting at the table from morning to night. So a small tables that would act like rest stops are designed, reminding people that it's time to take a break. they can stand at this small table and have a cup of coffee or listen to music. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This is a table that can be disassembled, and from a composition point of view, the table is composed of a table top, one or more legs, and some support structures. By combining and disassembling tables, new functions are formed.So different parts can be composed of different sizes of tables. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Material selection: The table top selects transparent glass, transparent material can better see the structure of the table legs, as well as the light source provided by the table legs.
