PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: I made a trial and error by bending the veneer like paper to make it look three-dimensional.
If you bend the veneer too hard, it will break immediately.
Until I settled on the current design, I considered the design with thick paper.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: I made it to explore the possibility of veneer.
How thick a veneer is, how sturdy it is, how much light it allows, and how much it can be bent.
How much of the or suitable distance veneer and the light source.
If it is too dark, it will not be illumination, and if it is too bright, the grain of wood will die.
I think that the experience of this work has expanded the possibilities of furniture that uses veneer.
CHALLENGE: It was difficult to process the veneer and determine how the light was transparent.
The veneer did not bend as I expected, and it took me some time to understand the habit.
I always worked carefully because if I tried to bend it forcibly, it would break easily.
Also, the distance between the light source and the veneer fluctuates depending on how the light is transparent, and the height of the work changes, so I spent a lot of time figuring out the right height.
