In terms of materials, I used clay with stronger stickiness and high temperature resistance, raw lacquer and colored lacquer, various lacquer tools, and gold foil for kintsuchi.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research scope of this work is ceramic artworks, and the research goal is the combination of lacquer, kintsuchi and ceramics. The method uses the double expression technique of ceramic and lacquer, and uses colorful paint to show the overall effect. The participants were two artists, He Qin and Jin Yuge. The effect after the completion of the work basically reached the expected goal, that is create a practical and beautiful ceramics container.
CHALLENGE: The lacquer is easy to peel off on the ceramic surface and must be tried many times to find a best way using lacquer on the pottery. The texture of each ceramic work is different, and it is in connection with their soil. Only on relatively rough surfaces can firmly covered in lacquer. But the rough surface is a disadvantage in the later grinding process, it is easy to grind the bottom of the ceramic part, and the color of the paint is all worn off.
