DESIGN NAME: Asr
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Automatic respirator
INSPIRATION: The global pandemic virus has caused a large increase in the number of patients, resulting in insufficient respirators. Artificial simple respirators can allow a large number of patients to be rescued at the first time. However, when using it, medical staff need to press for a long time, touching the patient nose and mouth consumes a huge amount of medical manpower and increases the chance of infection among people, leading to the expansion of the epidemic.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Asr the automated pressure pulse bag and loadable dry powder drugs offer manual resuscitator automatic air supply and treatment effects of mechanical respirator. This not only exempts medical personnel from compressing bag and minimizes their infection risk, but also increases patients survival and treatment rates.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: 1. Filter tank, add each filter layer.
2. Respiratory therapy drugs can be put into the patient body with the gas.
3. Opening the airway will open the airway for the patient wearing a vent mask.
4. Set the two air ports and jam.
5. Install the power cuff, put the power cord at the end through the power port and fasten it.
6. Breathing hose can be installed for easy placement and use.
7. Touch panel setting data.
8. Automatically press to start, press the data to return to the app.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The development of asr requires the tremendous efforts of medical staff and a team of designers. In a compact year, we have realized this difficult challenge and contributed to the epidemic.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The airbag and mask inflatable airbag are made of medical plastics, namely medical pvc materials that do not contain any latex or dehp.
The air mask can be used as a mask or, when first aid is required, as a respiratory mask by connecting it to asr air outlet. This design can minimize medical personnel infection risk derived from a direct contact with the patient.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Actually interviewed doctors, nurses, and patients, and understood that pressing a simple respirator would indeed increase the chance of infection and increase the workload of medical care. Therefore, the research and design of automated pressure pulse bag instead of manual compression also increases the effect of drug treatment and app control , to make the overall medical care work more perfect.
CHALLENGE: To achieve this goal, the challenge that needs to be overcome is that a power system can press several times quickly within one minute, and will not hurt the patient due to external forces, the automated pressure pulse bag can be applied to asr as well as existing simple respirators.
