| DESIGN NAME: Niulanshan PRIMARY FUNCTION: Liquor INSPIRATION: Niulanshan is a kind of Chinese rice wine from Beijing. As Beijing Opera, Niulanshan has long history and inherits Chinese honorable culture. Although traditional, neither of them can be considered old-fashioned and discarded. Therefore, the designer tried to make the traditional beauty shine in the modern world. What the work transmits is not only the originality, responsibility of the designer but also the inheriting and spreading of Chinese culture. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The spreading of traditional art is a process of integration. While designing the package, the designer integrates the Niulanshan and the elements of Beijing Opera, which shows the extraordinary oriental style of the product. Without adopting any complicated modern technique, the idea of paper quilling makes the design a fashionable handwork instead of a fossil. The fringed decoration makes the design vivid. The static-dynamic combination brings the consumer a new sensory experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The whole process is folded by hand by the workers, derived from the combination of paper art, which removes too much gorgeous modern technology, does not feel backward, but adds a lot of "handmade" flavor.
