PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Birds and Animal

INSPIRATION:
The year 2020 has been a very tough year for all of us. As I sat in my living room one morning drinking my cup of tea and envisaging the life that we all led before the pandemic, my thoughts were interrupted by the chirping of birds. While I shifted my concentration to these sweet-sounding chirps, my mood started getting better with every minute that I spent enjoying these sounds. This marked the beginning of a new immaculate design based on nature.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Unique Property of this design is Enameling. We are combining two types of enameling here. Plique-a jour & Cloisonne. We are using HPHT Diamond to promote organic Diamond Purchase. The gross weight of the product is 8gms. DWT is 0.46cts.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
This is a Piece of Jewelry. The product type is a Women's Ring. Designed for Index Finger.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in May 2020 in Canada and finished in January 2021 in India.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
We initially start making the concept with Pencil Sketch. Then Drawing in Rhino Matrix Software. Render for Look. We manufactured this product in 18K yellow gold with the Cloisonne Enamel & Plique a jour enamel for Leaves to get a more realistic look. We have used HPHT diamond to support the Organically processed diamond. We have used South Sea pearl. 5.5-6.5mm.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
This design Is inspired by Nature's Calling. Lots of research went into this product designing. Initially, we were designing the Brooch with the same concept ended up designing the ring. As this was the best way to present the concept. we wanted to incorporate Enameling in such a way that it reflects with sunlight. That gave us an Idea of Projecting best on Ring instead of Brooch.

CHALLENGE:
Product type was the biggest obstacle. We tried to create on Brooch/Pendant. But then it worked best with Ring. We were confused between coral & Pearl. Then ended up with South Sea pearl as that going well with Design, concept & Ideology. Selecting the right pattern of enameling is a very important element as that plays the biggest part in our design. after trying several Patterns Cloisonne and Plique a jour worked best.
