PRIMARY FUNCTION: Private Residence
INSPIRATION: Designers of ID project studio constantly chasing for New aesthetic that will might become an independent distinctive tendency of design. Such aesthetic not to be accepted by majority of people the goal is opposite - to reveal a chance to perceive reality from a different angle. This opportunity affects capability of the person to form self-identification in the modern world. We are drawing inspiration from contemporary art and culture where the line between irony and seriousness is undefined.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Person’s inner boundaries are projected into interior, appearing a pattern of perception of the world around. Designers are proposing to focus on cultural development in addition to comfort and beauty. Alters of space not only defining aesthetic expression, but offering conversation between an individual and environment, facilitating developing of open perception as a new style of living.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The project starts with an analysis of the structure of a building. Sometimes, the supporting structures do not match with initial idea. Despite of this, we have integrated a load-bearing beam by visually emphasizing to make it an integral part of the interior. While developing geometry of the space, functional areas were identified, which have been highlighted by the color. For example, the blue block, as primary color accent within interior is visually combining kitchen, living-room and bedroom.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was launched in March 2020 and is currently under construction. It is expected to be completed in March 2021.
The apartments are in Moscow, Russia.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The project assumes using of natural and environmentally friendly materials that visually reveal the spatial effects inherent in the concept.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The projected area is 47,5 square meters including kitchen, bathroom, livingroom and bedroom. The ceiling height of the space is 2.87 meters.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We have denied the traditional depiction of indoor living spaces in favour to a modern open space. The project aims to research for new compositional solutions implementing new aesthetics. For the rational and most efficient use of the area, the space was sequentially decomposed into functional elements and then restructured them various planes. Thus, we have formed the functional flexibility and integrity of the flowing of interior space.
CHALLENGE: To step away from the conventional representation of the living interior, research for new design approaches, transform geometry of space, unfold new stylistic features, to finally make typical apartments unique and contemporary.
