| DESIGN NAME: La Vie Architecture PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Space INSPIRATION: The houseowners design idea of the surrounding environment was originated from the sharing concept inviting the near residents to come here and have a good time in such a sharing and laid-back space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The home is filled with the minimalistic, fashionable, and relaxed atmospheres, all of which shape nature with space. The house is comprehensively constructed with the numerous natural-textured masonries and embellishments. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: To build a house complying with regulations and having desirable but challenging traffic flows in the outdoor and indoor space, the designer grew arbors on each side of the building entrance, thus generating the traffic flow resembling the scene of tree-lined path along which the people feel walking delightful. The big arbors growing along the road on the mature soil were based on the design project for the ideal scene of wooded avenue in the future. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: From the materials of structures to the materials of building exterior that the eco-friendly stone-like paints were applied comprehensively on the exterior walls, except the stone walls constructed on the first floor; and from the lively green courtyard, the small garden on the side, the roof garden, to the shading effect of solar panels. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Lot size: 4959.21 square meter Floor area: 2047.5 square meter Total floor area:30272.1 square meter TAGS: Residential, House, Interior Design, Space, Home RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The space recessed on the north side was afforested with green grass and multiple shrubs. The path through this green space had resting spot, thus accomplishing the design goal for sharing. CHALLENGE: The design project sooths the physical, mental, spiritual concept of space with the healing elements including shape, color, quality, emptiness, light, and artistic conception. The living room where the natural atmosphere flows integrates the indoor space with the natural environment. In addition to being an object, the house converting every living thing into excellent scenes is a implied shelter for the spirit.
