| DESIGN NAME: G Place PRIMARY FUNCTION: Multifunctional Table INSPIRATION: G was born while working on a project with limited space. In a small area, it was required to place a workplace, a dining area and a small storage area. And it was supposed to be located in an open space, next to the main lines of movement around the apartment. Apart from the functional side, the table had to be without corners, modern and aesthetically pleasing to the young man. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The multipurpose G table is designed for small spaces where it is necessary to arrange a workplace, dining area and small storage area. Combining the functions of a table, chair and storage shelf, G allows you not to overload the space with many items. Integrated connectors enable delicate electrical and internet connections. The G-shape visible through the light explains the name of this model. In addition to the functional side, the table was supposed to become a self-sufficient art object in space, modern and aesthetically attractive. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: For the production of this model, metal and natural wood were used. An internal metal frame provides the required structural rigidity. Inside the frame there are cables for the USB connector block, flexible lamp and electrical connector. All leads are located in the recessed part of the end face of the table top and base. This protects the connectors from dust and foreign objects. The metal frame is faced with bent plywood. The outside is covered with light oak veneer. The interior is covered with RAL2000 lacquer. Shaped concave end glossy lacquer RAL9017. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Dimensions L95 P60 H73. Working surface size L60 P60 H73. Seat size L45 P60 H45. As a result, the area of living spaces is reduced. Combining an art object and the necessary functionality in one object is one of the most interesting tasks. CHALLENGE: The main goal of this project was the maximum symbiosis of ergonomics, functionality and laconic design. Maximum return with minimum size.
