| DESIGN NAME: A taste of gentry PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: In this project, this space is a retirement residence for a client to have physical and mental recuperation in the future. The client requires a comfortable and relaxing residence. With the great traffic flow, delicate coordination of colors, lighting, soft furnishing and adorable patterns, the single-family villa is built along the mountains, and it presents rich and patchy residential spaces. The designers adopt French country style as the main axis. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The designers sophisticatedly reserved a wide passageway, showing the integration of mountain view and interior space. The mountain view outside can be seen inside the house. The designers adopt comfortable tones as the configuration, so space presents a clear and fresh look. Simultaneously, they use the clients favorite elegant jazz blue tone as the main color to have the shade matching. Thus, the first to fourth floors, the walls, public and private spheres, soft furnishings, and the edge of the space to the bathroom space are all embellished with dark and light jazz blue. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In order to create a simple French style, they are aware of the use of materials and the configuration of colors, and the traffic flow and symmetry relationships are considered. In order to create a harmonious balance and symmetry, the cabinets, fabrics, paintings, and soft furnishing are adopted to form a harmonious and elegant shape. Every traffic flows in the space has a unique configuration, and the designers take good advantage of the large format windows. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The whole space is embellished with comfortable color tones, and the designers use the jazz blue color that the client prefers as the space embellishment, so the whole color system has a natural and relaxing space characteristic. In addition, the Morandi grayscale color system is used in many ways to keep the space in multiple but simple tones. The use of wood grain bricks, wallpapers, stones, wood materials, and green plants allow the space to show an elegant French atmosphere. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Divide the space layout to integrate natural green sceneries into the interior. The designers enlarge each window and set up shutters, so the sceneries of green courtyard and sunlight can penetrate into the house. They take into account the traffic flow for clients retirement, the public sphere is planned into a vast and transparent design. Also, the bathroom is enlarged in the private sphere, so the client can freely deploy traffic flows. Eco-friendly waterproof and dustproof paint is used to reduce the impact on the natural environment. TAGS: French simplicity, Country style, Single-family villa, Soil and water conservation, Bring scene into room RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The spacious field is planned in the layout of the traffic flow. The greenery outdoor presents tranquility like a forest and the warm tones are adopted in the interior. Moreover, the designers adopt the adorable French-style soft furnishings to show the unique and beautiful charm in the space. Recreation spaces are also created in various areas, such as the rhythm room, mahjong table, bar area, couch area, open bedroom, etc. The cabinets, seats, and walls are decorated with the clients favorite jazz blue series. Moreover, walls with art decoration painting posters of the film, and drama merge with the space atmosphere. CHALLENGE: The designers need to handle the renovation. Thus, they deal with the configuration of the old pipeline and redesign the configuration of the house floor. The residence is built along the mountains, and several waterproof construction methods are adopted to build safe maintenance in the house in advance of deployment. The designers also use a variety of waterproof and dustproof coatings to overcome the natural difficulties that may be in the house. The residence is the home where the client retires.
