| DESIGN NAME: Heart Reunion PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence INSPIRATION: According to the lifestyle of the clients family of four, with the splendid view of the garden and through the windows, the designer has integrated nature elements outside the windows into the room. Nevertheless, by the use of wooden materials, slates, and silestones, also matching with glasses, mirrors, baking varnish glasses and biodegradable materials, through the modern design techniques, establishing an interior design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The whole room is constructed with modern design techniques, and the intermediate layer room is added above the dining room with a mature and logical idea which is used as a loft-type children's room to increase space utilization and expand the range of activities for the family. However, it is worth mentioning that the designer not only has retained the large french windows in the dining area, but also has used gray large-area glass as the wall of the attic. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The designer has adjusted the original two-bedroom layout planned by the builder to a three-bedroom configuration, removing the walls between the kitchen, dining room, and the room next to the dining room. An intermediate layer room is added above the master bedroom to serve as the daughter's room. In order to create a solid intermediate space, constructed this area through sophisticated calculation methods and mature washing chain design techniques and used steel slabs to increase the safety. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Random matching oak veneer, wear-resistant wood floor, sailistone, color slates, teak steps, latex paints, black baked glass, tea mirror, wooden blinds. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The actual size of the interior is about 99.174 square meters, which includes living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. TAGS: Modern, natural, stone, wood elements, duplex apartment, intermediate layer room, residential design. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The designer selected the simple and concise design method, using natural stone, wooden elements, and scenery outside the windows. Since the family is accustomed to dialoguing and communicating at the dining table, this case especially has made the dining room the center of the house. Through the open kitchen space, smooth movement planning, large window opening advantages, and rich storage functions, which unifies the spatial order. CHALLENGE: The delicate size of the interior is about 20 square meters, but it needs to fit in a family of four, which is a matter that requires special consideration. Even though the base is a new house, the pattern of it, the planning of the moving flows, and the implementation and the height of the intermediate layer room have caused the design team a lot of energy during the process. When establishing an intermediate layer room, the construction methods and building materials become huge difficulties.
