INSPIRATION:
There are some kind of UV lamps in hospitals to make the environment clean of viruses and it can be used in any other places. So the Ultra VioX has been designed with this core idea of having a Ultra Violet lamp inside to make a clean and sanitized device in this world that it is really important to avoid ant high risk acts which can put us on any kind of risk when the hospitals and ICUs are full of COVID-19 patients.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
An ultra violet ring lamp which has been placed inside the Bluetooth Mouse makes a clean device to use in office and some public places with the high risk of any kind of viruses especially the SARS-COV-2 that imposed this pandemic situation of COVID-19.This UV ring lamp sanitizes both the top and the bottom side of the device and it can make the hands clean of any kind of virus.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
There is a button on the left side of Ultra VioX to turn the UV light on and off and it is necessary to turn it off whenever you don't need it but a sensor will make it on as soon as you put your hand on it and it will be off automatically after 10 minutes and it will not turn on in next 50 minute because the UV light can cause the cancer, unless you press the button once more, so if another Operator started to work with the device, the one need to press the button to make it clean again .
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in June 2020 in Tehran and finished in July 2010 in Tehran

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The Ultra VioX has a UV ring lamp inside which has been Placed in the middle of the Mouse so it can affect both upside and the bottom of the device in order to make it clean. The topside of the device has been made out of a semi transparent resin and a cover of self clean nano material which has been created with bio polymers.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
The device size is 6.3cm x 12.6cm x 3.4cm and it is 157gr. It is compatible with both WINDOWS and MAC operating systems and can be used without a mousepad.The device will be connected to the computer with bluetooth.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
There are many researches which have been conducted by scientists all over the world which shows that UV light can kill SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes the Covid-19 pandemic. Researchers suggest that it can demonstrate viruses in 10 minutes but there is a bad part too. UV lights have some negative impacts on human's skin and it can cause the cancer so there is an standard of 10 minutes per hour is a suitable time to kill virus and not damage skin.
CHALLENGE:
As it mentioned in the researched abstract part, the UV light is not just damaging viruses and it is dangerous for human's skin. So there is a limitation of 10 minutes per hour to use the UV light but there is another problem; what if another user wants to use the device before 50 minutes? There is a button on the left side of the device to turn the UV lamp manually on so if any one needs to sanitize his or her hand it is easy to press the button and make it clean.
