Hand sanitizer bottle
INSPIRATION:
There are loopholes in the use of portable hand sanitizers. Most people do not often disinfect sanitizer bottles, so after they use sanitizer and put it back in their bags, clean hands may be reinfected with viruses by the uncleaned sanitizer bottle. Some people already aware of this, they always carefully put the bottle back with their fingertips after using the sanitizer.So, it is important to clean the bottle after they disinfect their hands.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The uniqueness of this hand sanitizer bottle is its smooth surface and soap-like appearance. These characteristics illustrate how it is used: after squeezing out the hand sanitizer, you can put the sanitizer bottle in the palm of your hand and rub it like soap, so that you can sterilize the bottle while disinfecting your hands. This helps keep the sanitizer bottle hygienic and safe to use. Otherwise, the virus may be lurking on the surface of the sanitizer bottle and return to your hand.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
After taking out the hand sanitizer from your bag or pocket, pump the hand sanitizer on the palm of your hand. Then cover the bottle cap, put the hand sanitizer bottle in your hand, and rub it like soap to achieve the purpose of cleaning your hands and the bottle at the same time. When the sanitizer has completely evaporated, the bottle can be safely returned to your bag.

The project started in April 2020 in The Netherlands and finished in July 2020 in China

CHALLENGE:
The biggest difficulty in this project is how to reasonably guide users, without changing the using scenario of portable sanitizer, to clean the outer surface of the sanitizer bottle after using it. Only by doing this can the design be accepted the public.
