| DESIGN NAME: JD Foundation PRIMARY FUNCTION: Foundation INSPIRATION: To get the attention of users towards these groups, JD Foundation uses warm yellow as the dominant tone, and the activity entrance adopts illustration. It is emotional to express the needs of special areas that can resonate with users. A practical and concise column design is convenient for users to understand project information. In addition, the donation order information will be displayed in real-time rotation to create a highly secure donation environment for users. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: JD Foundation creates a brand-new model of One-Click Donation & Direct Delivery of Materials. Giving materials are directly delivered to the location of the charitable project by JD Logistics, and will be distributed to the recipients via volunteers. The whole donation process is clear and transparent so that users can query the donated material information, prices, and logistics status in real-time through the JD App. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Users can see various charitable projects and required supplies. Just click I Want to Donate, the love will be passed on. The whole process is transparent and efficient. Users can place an order online to donate, or make an appointment of door-to-door logistics service to pick up the donated materials to complete the donation without leaving the house. By clicking Tab, they could switch to the detailed information of more projects and leave a message. It is very convenient for retrieval. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project began in Beijing on 26th February, 2020, and ended on 2th March, 2020. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: With years of disaster relief experience, JD Foundation relies on the advantages of JD Logistics and the brand supply chain to realize contactless distribution, cutting off the transmission of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. Moreover, the use of block-chain technology ensures that the process information cannot be tampered with and the whole donation process can be traced. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: One-click donation, direct delivery of materials, real-time query, transparent process RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Many charitable organizations keep the information about donated materials secret, and their management is also very chaotic, which results in the imbalance of material distribution and the supply warehouse in some regions cannot be solved really. The COVID-19 epidemic reveals and magnifies these situations that disappoint every Chinese, and drives them away from making a donation. CHALLENGE: Under the epidemic situation, medical stuff is in urgent need. However, the long delivery process due to traffic control makes it inconvenient for the donors to transfer the supplies, which ends up in the difficulty to replenish supplies in time. What's more, the public has high requirements for information transparency and efficient operation of public services.
