PRIMARY FUNCTION: Care Kit
INSPIRATION: In my childhood memory, my grandfather was always bothered by insulin injection. Diabetic people not only suffer from diabetes, but also suffer from insulin injection. Some insulin drugs are inconvenient to carry, so special but inefficient medical equipment is needed.Diabetes patients are bound to have a great impact on their psychology due to long term illness. Therefore, when designing relevant nursing products, on the one hand, they should be more humanized through improved design, on the other hand, they should also meet the emotional needs of patients, insert emotional factors, and improve their happiness index.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This product integrates the products needed in the nursing process of diabetic patients and puts them into a system, which is presented in the form of modules. It mainly includes three modules, namely the glucose monitoring module, the insulin injection module and the small amount of insulin storage module. The whole product is small in size and easy to carry. It can be easily used for diabetes care when you travel or travel.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: How to use needleless syringe:
1.Boost by rotating the main body.
2.Draw medicine through the front button.
3.Press the tail button to inject.
How to use non-invasive blood glucose meter:
1.Remove the protective cover.
2.Press the Bluetooth connection button to connect to the mobile phone, the connection process indicator light flashes blue, after the connection is successful, the indicator light is steady blue.
3.When in use, press your finger in the induction zone for about 30s. During the next process, the indicator light will be steady yellow.
4.After the indicator light changes from yellow to green, the glucose meter sampling is completed.
Host charging status:
Can be used for 72 hours when fully charged
Steady blue light: normal state.
Yellow light is always on: medium power.
Steady green light: high battery.
Red light always on: low battery.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Augest 2019 in Hebei and finished in January 2020 in Hebei.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This product is made of conventional plastic PC,ABS in the material. In terms of the injection molding technology, the insulin injector adopts the needleless injector blood glucose meter and the non-invasive blood glucose meter technology.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Diabetes is a chronic wasting disease that seriously endangers human health. The causes of the disease are complex, the complications are numerous, and the cure rate is very low. It poses a great threat to people's psychology and physiology. In 2016, China diabetes association did a survey and found that the patient rate of diabetes in China has reached 11.6 percent, so there will be 114 million patients with diabetes in China . To find the design methods suitable for the use of diabetes medical care products, under the guidance of these methods, the product pain point of innovative design.It is necessary to establish an efficient, reasonable, scientific and humanized nursing system, which includes doctors, patients, families and even social information resources. In order to achieve this goal, the treatment scheme of diabetes has changed from simple intervention to comprehensive care of multiple life factors based on lifestyle adjustment. The best design scheme was selected for further in-depth design. Finally, a three-dimensional data model was built through computer-aided design, and a set of design renderings, process documents, screen printing documents and other design drawings were made.
