PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Street Furniture
INSPIRATION:
The design concept is inspired by the leaves of plants and small branch holding the leaves together, the bench core represents the stalk, the triple arms of the bench represents the small branches and the white seats are the symbol of leaves. Triella was inspired by plant structure and form, as plants are symbols of life and regeneration with an abstract and seamless design.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Triella Bench has a flexible and dynamic form with smooth chamfered edges. This Bench is an item of outdoor street furniture and also can be used in public parks and open public interiors
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
This Outdoor or street furniture is easy to use it's divided into three angular arms each arm has two seats separated by a panel of tempered glass to allow eye and voice contact and protect against the COVID 19 with social distancing. The glass panel is fitted between trash boxes for the both seats of the arm, in order to achieve a clean and healthy space for public use.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The Triella can be designed and applied anywhere in the world as it's a means to protect people and maintain a healthy and clean outdoor environment for daily use in the future. The Triella is easy to manufacture and design, it doesn't require a long time to produce one unit.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The project is still a conceptual design idea for a street and park furniture. The idea was to design a seat that is easy to manufacture and transport in a short time, also to be eco-friendly and achieve the element of aesthetics. The suggested materials for the bench are timber for the whole body and seats, glass panels to separate between the seats of each arm of the three arms and metal in the trash boxes.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
The Triella has three main arms each one of them is about 3450 mm. The three arms have a 120-degree angle between each other. The Body height (H) of the Triella is about 600 mm, and the Seat height (H) is 400 to 420 mm high. Glass Panel is (H) 1300 mm high and 1550 mm (W) depth and Thickness (T) 30 mm

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
In the current situation, the world lives a horrible nightmare of the COVID-19, and this what made us think about new ways to protect people against the virus. Triella should achieve social distancing while, giving a visual and voice connection between users, as a result, it will be a nice place to rest have chat with others, drink your coffee or wait for the bus.
CHALLENGE:
The challenge was to design street furniture unit that can provide both social distancing and connecting people together in a safe environment which help in preventing the spread of COVID 19 and also keeping people together to support each other, from here cam the idea of the Triella
