PRIMARY FUNCTION: Air purification system
INSPIRATION: The project was originally created before the pandemic, and the main goal was to clean the air of public places such as schools, offices and other places. The problem of the spread of viral diseases directly affects people's lives, because practice has shown that if you do not solve the problem before it spreads, then humanity will face a very difficult time. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: ULTRO - air purification system designed for air prophylaxis in private and public premises. The system is a unique combination of two devices that perform functions such as: purifying air using a filter system, disinfecting rooms with ultroviolet radiation, and also lighting the room.
In addition to the above, the system perfectly complements the interior in which it is located through its unique image of high-tech household appliances
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The system consists of a combination of two devices: a station and a drone. The station is the base for the drone, as well as the main element responsible for cleaning the air. In order to perform this function, it is necessary that the drone is inside the station, since it is an air conductor due its ability to drive air.
In turn, the task of the drone is to disinfect the premises with ultraviolet radiation. Howewer, in the absence of a drone, the station can perform a lighting function, which is also due to its appearance, inspired by the best examples of stationary lighting devices
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project began in September 2019 and ended in January 2020

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This device is composite, the main body parts are aluminum. The production technology of the body is injection molding. The legs of the device are made of wood, so they can be made using basic woodworking tools. many parts of the device, such as drone engines, blades, batteries, UV lamps, are standard.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: height - 1600 mm, width - 512 mm. The product is prefabricated, so it can be sold retail and in branded cardboard packaging.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This project was developed as part of the master's thesis. The main goal was to create an object, relying on existing technologies, identifying the hidden qualities of various devices and using them as a fundamental function (for example: a drone can be not only the basis for any function, but also use screws as a means to direct air using the blades).
Main methods: scenario method, Kano analysis, Associative mapping, Value potential analysis.

CHALLENGE: The most difficult task was to combine many functions into one, completely new and unique object. It is important to make it clear that this is not just a set of various functions, but an object truly necessary for life.
