PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Multifunctional handle
INSPIRATION:
The first order from country and health leaders was not to touch anything. Since it is simply impossible, there were some immediate solutions.
First was to use the elbow, better but not comfortable nor sterile enough.
Second was to use AlcoholGel, somewhat clumsy and expensive.
Third was disposable gloves, which might be comfortable but is hideously unecologic.
Therefore, I had to find a non disposable, comfortable, easy to use, not expensive solution.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The idea is an every day tool protecting one’s hands when in public spaces and the need to touch infected surfaces is inevitable.
The solution is a glove with a handle that is easily and quickly wrapped on one’s hand, and allows to open doors, press elevator’s buttons, hold balustrades, carry bags and so on, while there is no need to ever touch the 'dirty' handle.
The CH is light weighted, no maintnance needed and is comfortably blending in the daily routine.
