INSPIRATION:
Inspired by the form of medicine, something that could helps humanity and yet so small. Red Potion took its base configuration in solving architecture problems at a time of pandemic situation. A spatial property which could be placed anywhere and have to be ready with minimum construction period. An idea of mobility made the design uses light, sleek and clean materials with minimalist look but fits every primary thing.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Red Potion is a simple prefabricated clinic that can be produced massively in short period of time. Hence the needs of quarantine place is unpredictable, this method can be a perfect solution to accommodate patient at emergency situation. After being massively produced, this ready made pod can be set at anywhere from outreach place, city gates or even as additional rooms for over capacity hospital. Set up process could be done instantly and accustom on the number of needs.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
This prefab clinic is made using hollow steel structure, calcium board body and aluminum frame. Based on concrete and metal deck, a uni small form factor and considerable light weight can be transported using heavy vehicle to any place. The design is suitable for two patients individually, equipped with private handicap friendly bathroom, entertainment, air purifier and medical bed set. A complete package for emergency isolation or first aid.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
This project started on April 2020 in a specific design for War on Virus competition. The location for this prefab architecture can be anywhere as needed, even outreach places. A building that suitable for emergency cases which requires 0 day to set up. A considerably light weight that can be transported where required.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
By making a prefab building that does not requires any specific skills to build and can be massively produced, designer expects a solution for supply matter to get in control. Base materials to make Red Potion prefabricated clinic can be retrieved at large scale in almost every country. It uses less expensive materials and far more flexible in reaching certain location compared to precast buildings. Budget allocation is also something that can be in control by simple calculation which truly be needed at emergency respond. Double glass with air gap and white stripes window film is use to prevent outside temperature without blocking natural light.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
Length 8 meters. Width 3 meters. Height 3 meters. Total area 24m2. Two identical overnight medical room with individual handicap friendly bathroom. Polar facing entrances and less touch sliding doors to prevent contamination. Each room is equipped with standard medical bed, medical bed head, power outlets, television, washbowl, toilet, shower, air purifier and conditioner.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
By looking on the situation that may come, designer categorizes the difficulties into three specific cases which may be overcome by architecture design. Quantity, Location and Time. Surprisingly, these three leads to one problem that must be solved, which is supply. Supply talks about how people could fulfill an over demand condition that could adapts instantly. Supply as well speaks on how to reach particular area without obstructing other factors such distance, ability and provision. Lastly it also need to get over the necessity in no time.
CHALLENGE:
In unpredictable situation, major hospitals are not designed to face pandemic situation which could provide over excess quantity of patients on the same time. On another side, conventional hospital could not reach people from remote places due to lot factors and distance. Struggles of building emergency hospital took enormous cost, yet could not be done in a day. By seeing from these problems, designer need an architecture solution that can be adjusted in capacity as needed, could be placed anywhere and have it ready in no time.
