PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Chair

INSPIRATION:
This chair is inspired by the amazing Eastern culture. You can see the influence and feel the spirit of Asia. I tried to use materials, colors, symbols that are related to the Asian culture and when you see the chair to take you back to the Eastern traditions.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The chair is named after the second largest island in Japan - Hokkaido. The warrior weapon shuriken is stylized logo of the island - a seven point star. All of the chair's features and the overall look are totally inspired by the Asian culture. The main construction is made of two different materials such as wooden parts and chromed pipes. Seat and back-rest can be produced of leather or fabric. Different colors which the customer can choose will allow it to fit in every interior.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Easy for manufacturing, easy for assembling.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
Total duration of the project is about 6 months with several versions which are also good.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Main frame is made of wooden and chrome coated parts, connected together. An easier option could be monolith metal frame with artificial wooden coating. Seat and back-rest are made of leather or fabric.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Due to the fact that this chair needed to have the spirit of Asia there was really huge research about eastern history, geography, warrior's weapons, languages, specific colors and materials

The product needs to be recognizable and unique and it has to speak for itself and its relations
