Residential House

INSPIRATION:
What is your desired house for a life in retirement? The house owner of this design project admires the quiescence of nature, the changes of seasons, and the poetic verdurous scenes, all of which signify a state of not only the change of space and time, also the natural aesthetics.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This design project advocates simplicity, restraint and admiration to nature as the principle of design, of which the residential space with the verdurous views remains undisturbed from the bustling city life. This is where the family enjoying the exquisite view of natural pool, and experiencing a slow living lifestyle.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Trees and green fields come into view at the moment coming here, where people can relieve pressure from bustling life, and purely enjoy the simplicity of nature. The big natural pool and slate walkway reconcile the human senses and nature, where has the delightful views of the delicate poolside landscapes and fishes.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project finished in December 2019 and locates in Hsinchu City, Taiwan.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
At the beginning of construction progress, the designer considering the view originally blocked by the other building visually concealed that building by skillfully using trees with diverse heights. In addition to planting the original trees to more suitable locations, the designer manifested the feeling of coexistence with nature by ingeniously using landscapes, slates, and pool.

The property is 578.5 square meters.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The building exterior painted with the low-key grey is moderate, restrained, and simple, thus showing the care to this land in more natural methods.

CHALLENGE:
The symphony of lifestyle composed of nature and art in this place, where the entire views with the sound of babbling water have gradually conformed into the artistic deconstruction of nature.
