DESIGN NAME: LIFEWTR x Sundance activation
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Experiential
INSPIRATION: For the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, LIFEWTR highlighted its brand purpose and built brand awareness with a soft launch of its Arts and Education platform. While arts education has a significant impact on students beyond self expression, it is increasingly disappearing from schools. LIFEWTR showcases artists who demonstrate the far reaching impact that art has had on their lives. As a part of this initiative, LIFEWTR provides schools with grants, murals, and art supplies.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Design team partnered with the LIFEWTR brand team and artist Adrienne Gaither to showcase a custom installation at Sundance TV House. Gaither first partnered with LIFEWTR for Series 2, Women in Art. Gaither is a visual artist whose work focuses on identity and black imagination utilizing geometric abstraction, color theory, archival photos and collected objects. At Sundance, Gaither’s sculptural debut, Push, came to life in a multi dimensional and multi media format.
