| DESIGN NAME: Evobeds PRIMARY FUNCTION: Electrical Ergonomic Bed INSPIRATION: The main goal of final design styling and construction has been the fusion between regular hospital bed and high end furniture for not only modern interiors. All patients and users feel much better in domestic environment with better looking and working products which help them to get well soon in high comfort. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This ergonomic bed works as 6 pieces puzzle construction and is configurable into 10 basic positions. It offers high level of comfort for every customer and uses only high quality materials. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Every user of this bed can find right position that is fine for recovery process at home. 10 different options of setup are enough to feel comfortable. The range of tilt is 0-75 degrees. Adjustable high of seat position in the range 40-80cm. Easy shipping and assembly process. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in January 2016 in Ostrava city in Czech Republic and finished in February 2020 in Ostrava city in Czech Republic. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Evobed chassis is based on 6 main parts which are joined together as a puzzle system and that bring strong point of this product for the customers who are able to assamble this bed themselves easily. Solid and properly made by welding steel construction is powered by 4 electric motors hidden under coat. It offers to set the bed in many ergonimic positions. This operation is actuated by users via remote control that is a part of product. Another parts are ergonomic mattress, wheels with a brake, customized textile and leather coat, side safety panels, trapeze. Used materials are steel and stainless steel pipe, aluminium, wood slat, leather, fabric, rubber, polymer parts, etc. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 2200mm x 1015mm x 825mm TAGS: Bed, Evobeds, Medical, Invira, Configurable, Furniture, Home, Interior, Treatment RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Evo is an ergonomic electric bed designed to the last detail. It combines simply elegant design and modern technology. It is powered by four powerful electric motors that make it easy to set up as you need it. If necessary, Evo turns into a medical bed: just add extra ergonomic accessories and fully combine Evo features. The bed was developed with a team of experienced engineers and doctors. Evo is certified to the latest European health standards. Design and production in the Czech Republic. CHALLENGE: Over 5 years development process was challenging completely. At first we had to keep the balance between technology of construction and design styling. We wanted bed to work ergonimically well and look decently. That was not easy to find right solution how to cover or hide all major components and hardware as well.
