As a result, the design team tore down the walls of the garage, making it a living room, the main gate was relocated, and the foyer was formed with existing columns. Besides, ranch sliders are installed to access to more daylight and to get wider views, which lead to more ideal life quality for dwellers.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In response to three generations in one family, living comfortableness is also our emphasis. Apart from increasing the hinterland in the first floor for the purpose of visual amplification by applying widening and permeable form to reshape the space, transformed the beam columns into invisible borders between regions, and further designed them as practical cabinets. We made efforts on weighing the arrangement of textures and shades, constructing main facades with graceful lines. With customized family crest decorating the foyer flooring and great visions accessing to natural landscape, it once again go back to the main theme.
CHALLENGE: This is a case including interior design, landscaping and driveway layout, thus, it was a must that underwent a thorough evaluation of clients practical needs and preferences. The design team started from leveling land and renovating. As for the biggest challenge, it must be the limited construction time. Asked to finish constructing within 7 months, which allowed the family to move in, and to achieve the goal of presenting the clients demand on delicate quality.
