Interview with Michelle Rivadeneira at Saturday 18th of May 2019 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? MR: The idea of my design is based on my connection with eastern Ecuador, because part of my family lives in this area. I have always been proud of my hybridization of my Ecuadorian roots, and what better way to express it by rescuing their culture through a design that has a purpose of promoting it in an ecological way. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? MR: I wanted to get foreigners to take a piece of my land, Ecuador, seeing it with the same eyes that I admire. FS: Who is the target customer for his design? MR: The target customers are both external and internal tourists FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? MR: The name was given from the ecological reserve. FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? MR: The feather that Cofan possesses is the element that prevails in my design
