Interview with Yazdan Pargoshaei at Saturday 15th of June 2019 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? YP: The original idea came when I was searching about the architecture of Azadi Tower in Tehran. There is an arc in it that was inspired by Taq Kasra. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? YP: My main focus was to design a piece that would bring ancient architecture and modern form into one jewelry. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? YP: To be honest I still haven't thought about it. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? YP: If I remember correctly from my first idea to end of the project it took about 4 months. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? YP: I followed my inspiration by joining ancient architecture and modern form to design a jewelry that would make a user feel memento and also modern forms. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? YP: This design is being produced by Pargoshae manufacture.
