FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
LZ: The design of sofa stool comes from the cut modelling of diamond, the edge form of diamond is shirt-sleeve in the smooth arc line that combines with human body each other.
FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
LZ: The advantage is that it not only has a light diamond shape, and the shape of the diamond into a smooth arc, plus fit the back of the human body and circular edge modification, let a person feel comfortable and refined.
FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
LZ: The project started in hangzhou in September 2017, was completed in hangzhou in March 2018 and exhibited at CIFF in April 2018.
