Interview with Percept Design at Tuesday 24th of April 2018 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? PP: In the interior design case, it is easy to find the application of points and surfaces. Through the application of sales center lines, especially the application of curves is very challenging. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? PP: Diversity the pursuit of art that reflects Desinger. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? PP: The principle of continuation of before , design style and technique background under the owner, insist on "people-oriented" design principles. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? PP: About 70 days. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? PP: Design the concept of sales center and designer, meet practical functions, and combine artistic infection. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? PP: This is commissioned design project. FS: What made you design this particular type of work? PP: The addition of curves in this space creates a smooth visual shock and an aesthetic circuit. The grey toned hall incarnates high-end modernity. FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work? PP: By the design team to complete. FS: Who is the target customer for his design? PP: Aiming at young fashion design customer. FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts? PP: The lines in the space orientate the viewers’ view along with their direction, thus affecting the viewer’s sensibility and mentality. With the rhythm of the curves as well as the combination of the wall and the ceiling, the view varies along with the variation of the viewer’s location in the space. FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? PP: The name is the customer's decision FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project? PP: AutoCAD、3DMax、Sketchup、Ai、PS FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? PP: Use the building itself to combine design concepts to create a unique sales center. FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills? PP: We are in the form of a team to complete the project, including soft outfit, engineering, and equipment. The design skill is not a lot of new technology, More is through the art of life concept of gimmick perfect pass out. FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design? PP: The design skills is not a lot of new technology, but also through the concept of art to convey life. FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design? PP: Considerations of building environment. FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept? PP: Mainly is the complexity of the building itself and limitations FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition? PP: In terms of design itself, need for art performance insights,and also hope that through this platform to show our design concept, let more people know us. FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work? PP: Combination of learning and good communication, and makes design implementation easier. FS: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions? PP: Due to fire supervision, indoor space can not place too much wood and paper products.
