Interview with Emanuele Grittini at Tuesday 18th of December 2018

FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
EG: Professional secret...

FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
EG: I wanted to meet the needs of the client by uniting them with my desire to create something unique

FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
EG: Make it become one of my warhorses on my portfolio and make sure that it continues to win

FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
EG: Almost 8 months

FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
EG: The project has been commissioned, and together with the client we have achieved this wonderful result.

FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
EG: The project was created for Feralhorses and holds exclusive usage rights

FS: What made you design this particular type of work?
EG: The client's communication needs towards his users

FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
EG: I could not answer

FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
EG: Users who come from new markets, users who approach different forms of equity investment and less expensive, classic investors who want to diversify and offer their users a different service of investment, art advocates and eventually any user wants to try to invest in something unique.

FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
EG: Fortunately there is no such thing, or at least, at the time it was a real innovation.

FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
EG: The naming was brought by the client for motivations dedicated to him.

FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
EG: I used moodboards, mockups and various design software, plus many sheets, pencils and erasers.

FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
EG: The uniqueness is proper of every point of view and therefore of every person who observes this design, you should ask them.

FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
EG: No

FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
EG: It made it possible to prototype and bring the project from my mind to the real world.

FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
EG: I analyzed the graphic trends and the type of style to be adopted, but I also left space for my creativity without braking.

FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
EG: I did not have any particular impediments or problems.

FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
EG: To see how it would come out, whether it was a winner or not and to test one of my best projects...

FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
EG: Every project I perform leaves a trace in me, a sign that improves me, increasing my experience and my abilities, exponentially increasing my knowledge of the subject.

FS: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions?
EG: The best way to say anything else is to simply look at the project.

FS: Thank you for providing us with this opportunity to interview you.
