Interview with Miro Nazarian at Saturday 3rd of March 2018 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? MN: The Main idea of this design is, designing furniture which are inspired by the natural forms and having less chaotic forms. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? MN: Designing the simplest form of furniture inspired by nature. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? MN: Design a complete series of furniture. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? MN: I was thinking about designing a furniture series inspired by natural forms and it takes nearly 1 year to study on natural forms, but the process of designing this hanger was about 1 month. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? MN: I want to sell or lease the production rights. FS: What made you design this particular type of work? MN: Having furniture like natural forms and bringing natural forms into the houses. FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts? MN: The simplicity of its form and shape. FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? MN: Saguaro is a kind of cactus and when I was studying on its form the idea of naming this product as "Saguaro"came up. FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? MN: the most unique aspect of this design is the simplicity of its form and shape.
