Interview with Martin Foret at Wednesday 26th of April 2017 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? MF: Main focus is to bring highly aesthetically processed products, which will user-friendly and still looks nice. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? MF: I wanted to do product, which will looks as a part of interieror, like interior accessory but the functionality will be better than ever before. I wanted to hide functionality so when a man will look at the Heart without bike, nothink will be missing there. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? MF: I started to sell it on my own website. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? MF: One year took finish it. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? MF: Stimilus was my way how I live. I did it for people who's are like me. I live in small flat in the big city and space is expensive and I wanted to store my bike with style. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? MF: I did it for my new own brand Hang bike. FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work? MF: Its a new kind of product, the anothers are just shelves for bike but nothinkg wich looks like a part of interior furnishings. FS: Who is the target customer for his design? MF: People like me, young people, who has active and posstive attitude for live. Who likes nice thing and who care about enviroment where he lives. Mostly for people in cities. FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? MF: Name comes from main destination.
