Interview with Venkatesh Kalidoss at Thursday 4th of May 2017

FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
VK: The main principle throughout my design is that it is multidunctional

FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
VK: Acheive the user playful interaction in the design . The user role itself becomes a part of the design with time .

FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
VK: Will make it soon and make it more valuable as a design for the users

FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
VK: 2 days

FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
VK: I always just skecth and it just came out as a good one as a spent more time on it in developing.

FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
VK: I intent to produce but i am looking for someone to take lease the production rights

FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
VK: No

FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
VK: People who give value to design. Its not age specific.

FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
VK: The design can transform to more than 36 patterns which i dont think would be possible by any other design

FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
VK: Visualising softwares :3ds max

FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
VK: There is a certain scale, pattern and colour which just respond to each other so well.

FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
VK: No one . The work was conpletely on my own interest

FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
VK: Its manual . There is no energy wasted.

FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
VK: I researched on the angle what a book needs so that it would be easy for the user to pick and place the books.

FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
VK: I explained my design and interest to many designers but no one gave value to it. So i decided to create my own value .

FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
VK: I learnt how to make simple things but yet make the best value of it .

FS: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions?
VK: I am looking for production and sale if this product.So people can contact on venkateshkalidoss @gmail.com
