FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
VV: Inspired by the character and style of the twentieth Century molded plywood furniture pieces, Avante is a three-seater sofa designed with symmetry and proportion, using basic geometrical forms and natural materials.
FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
VV: Avante intends to provide comfort, style, and connection between people.
FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
VV: 2 years
FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
VV: Personal challenge
FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
VV: At the moment it is not being produced by any company, I am interested in selling or leasing the production rights
FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
VV: the twentieth Century molded plywood furniture pieces
FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
VV: AA and AAA market
FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
VV: Avante is designed with symmetry and proportion, using basic geometrical forms and natural materials
