Interview with He Huawu at Thursday 5th of May 2016 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? HH: It's experience including aesthetics under the skilled technical norms. Design plays a role in the special era without standard. It is that the users and participants bring the certain characters to space in the situation or daily life. Using space as the scipt and start storytelling ,namely demonstrating space theme. There is such a well-known saying that practice makes perfect. Only if we practice a lot and master the rules , can we find many skills. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? HH: We have to initiatively develope the cultural spirit of the buildings , get rid of constraint about traditional thinking and add new design ideas and elements. It forms independent styles through new languages. It will be on the behalf of pioneers or advance guard. And it means that it will be the main stream in the future. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? HH: The honor proves that our thinking path is always in the front of era and we will continue this way to find out new ideas and moving on. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? HH: We spend three months to think indepently and explore. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? HH: When I begin to design this, what I do is the leap thinking about the regional cultural situation, with complicated, variable and dynamic architectural form, to dispel the completion and harmony of the formal system. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? HH: Not yet. Personally, I think it is of no right of use. I belive we can feel deligghted through sharing our designs. We are very glad and eager to exchange and share with others. FS: What made you design this particular type of work? HH: We try to make the space vive, creative and dynamic in function and aesthetics. FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work? HH: We have always been searching for and innovating new ideas. FS: Who is the target customer for his design? HH: The idealists who can give a light on balanced thinking and values. FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts? HH: We keep pursuing spitial warmth in the circumstance of poetic feature. The thinkful and warm space stand out in the substantial and abstract versions. FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? HH: We advocate unadorened properties, between realism and abstractionism. It won't be too simple for people to see it through or too proufound that make them halt. It will lead people to enjoy, to appreciate and to feel the entirety design and also details of it. Implication of the details means the form of intelligence, momentarily inspiration and the passion of life reflected in comfort, making it more close to the nature of space. It naturally abandoned the representation details , and highlights the combination of nature and life. FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project? HH: The essence of space is a carrier of humannity, therefore no special technique was used. The integrate of my experience and my thoughts makes this primitiveness and pure tension of the space come into being. FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? HH: Shaping the scene mode with bold thinking, to proddece a 4-D inner space image of the architecture, and the inner heart seems to generate a kind of lighting and explosive spiritual qualities. FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills? HH: There is no rule to follow in any aspect of space. So we make a reference from mechanical experts and complete the spatial shape without any standard. FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design? HH: Technique is the result of experience and learn from mechanical subjects. To complete the display of idealism , it is used as a tool to keep practicing in the process of producing thinking. FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design? HH: There is no bound in the design . The thinking producer always start to conceive a idea without any clues. They will use some scientific data to do an analysis under the clear mentality.Research is just a contrast logic. However, sensibility often works instead of sense in the no bound industry. FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept? HH: How to embody humanity in the strenghthful space. FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition? HH: We always keep researching and advocating this trade . We have responsibilties to get the acceptance with such results of mature thinking. This is a lead in this regional industry. FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work? HH: Humanity and experience command are the most essential in any spatial carrier. We have humane warmth performed through such space. The greatest wealth is that we keep improving and enriching our thinking and lead the industry. FS: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions? HH: I am eager to express my grateful for my friends. It is their hardwork that make us proud of them.
