Home > Winners > Design #41496 >Interview
Editor Frank Scott (FS) from DesignPRWire has interviewed designer Ecoline Ltd (FG) for A' Design Awards and Competition. You can access the full profile of Ecoline Ltd by clicking here. Access more information about the award winning design EcoZip here.

Interview with Ecoline Ltd at Thursday 21st of April 2016

FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
FG: The main inspiration for this design was to create an entirely new zip line experience for the many people who love to fly on a zip line.

FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
FG: It was important to create a zip line that combined the thrills of a rollercoaster with the sense of flight that comes from a zip line with a completely safe structure that could be built in situ and adapted to meet the needs of each location.

FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
FG: We are constructing new EcoZip adventures for attractions in Australia and across the globe.

FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
FG: It took us 2,000 hours to develop the EcoZip.

FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
FG: The EcoZip design was inspired by the feedback from the many customers who have enjoyed other zip lines we have built.

FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
FG: Ecoline is creating new EcoZip adventures for other companies. We are open to future possibilities for the sale of the product.

FS: Thank you for providing us with this opportunity to interview you.
