Interview with Percept Design at Thursday 12th of March 2015

FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
PP: This design by private art collection for inspiration, through the open layout and the material of fine texture, with its own building advantage, technique are presented with progressive and costly.

FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
PP: Space distinct, diversity and diversity, and joint "private art collection" theme, the pursuit of art that reflects host.

FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
PP: The principle of continuation of before , design style and technique background under the owner, insist on "people-oriented" design principles.

FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
PP: About 70 days.

FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
PP: The delegate want to "private gallery" to design a blueprint, the idea of design concept similar with The designer , thus creating the unique luxury residential, satisfy living function, combined with the case of artistic appeal more.

FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
PP: Because this is commissioned design project, so the intellectual property rights owned by the client.

FS: What made you design this particular type of work?
PP: The client's personal background and the pursuit of art.

FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
PP: By the design team to complete.

FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
PP: Aiming at high-end private custom residential demanders customer base.

FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
PP: This is located in the high-rise building, the top of the double entry building advantage and horizon is lacked for other projects, in addition, combined with the delegate art background, is an innovative attempt.

FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
PP: This project use the project name address and USES, concise and clear.

FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
PP: AutoCAD、3DMaxSketchupAiPS

FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
PP: Take advantage of the building itself combining design concept to make unique double luxury homes.

FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
PP: We are in the form of a team to complete the project, including soft outfit, engineering, and equipment.

FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
PP: The design skill is not a lot of new technology, more is through the art of life concept of gimmick perfect pass out.

FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
PP: Considerations of building environment.

FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
PP: Mainly is the complexity of the building itself and limitations.

FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
PP: In terms of design itself, need for art performance insights,and also hope that through this platform to show our design concept, let more people know us.

FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
PP: Combination of learning and good communication, and makes design implementation easier.

FS: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions?
PP: Thanks to all staff involved in design and for clients to our trust and support.
