Interview with Jiayi Lu, Han Liu at Saturday 19th of April 2014 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? FS: The series of posters inspired by Chinese tradition.The picture shows the prototype of the works to Tai Chi, Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese philosophical term, meaning derived the origin of all things. Diagram of vividly expressed its rotation yin and yang, opposite and complementary philosophy of things to generate changes in the root.The series of works to the fish and water birds and wood, tiger and soil as a prototype, to express the essential points of the truth of things in the world, as an expression of mutual love, mutual respect, so that we can become an organic whole and harmonious,world full of infinite love, like Tai Chi and prosperous. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? FS: I will continue to refine the series of posters, and create better work. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? FS: About 1 month. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? FS: I design this particular concept because the series of posters created for the exhibition said. The exhibition does not limit the topic. But I think only the creation of a Chinese flavor posters to reflect the Chinese spirit. FS: What made you design this particular type of work? FS: Who is the target customer for his design? FS: Icograda FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? FS: The Chinese traditional elements FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design? FS: Chinese paintings and illustrations. FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work? FS: I think good design work is inseparable from culture. The award-winning works, I firmly believe that the important role of culture in the design. FS: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions? FS: I have not.
