Interview with Amin Einakian at Sunday 27th of April 2014 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? AE: The main idea was to use the air drag force as a useful force. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? AE: I wanted to create something to turn something useless into a useful element. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? AE: I want to highlight my portfolio more. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? AE: It took about 3 weeks for me to design this vehicle. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? AE: I was watching a NASCAR competition and I saw air drag force lifted the car from the ground. I thought why not using this force to create something useful. So I think it was pursuing my inspiration. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? AE: It is not produced. FS: What made you design this particular type of work? AE: I wanted to create something to turn something useless into a useful element. FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work? AE: No. FS: Who is the target customer for his design? AE: Target costumers are young people/ tourists. FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? AE: I came up with this name because of my inspiration for exterior design. FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project? AE: Rhino and Cs Photoshop.
