Interview with Priscilla Lee Pui Kee at Monday 14th of April 2014 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? PL: Client intention to have a very corporate image at their reception area. An impression of 'WOW' for those who walk in to their company. Shape of the company logo is the main inspiration behind the design. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? PL: To blend well different elements and shapes into one space. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? PL: To create more good design for all clients. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? PL: About 2-3 weeks. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? PL: It's an new impression design specially created for this corporate to bring up their corporate images. No intentions to sales or apply same concept for others office area. Every clients had their own corporate styles. FS: What made you design this particular type of work? PL: Client's company image FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? PL: Unity of static geometrical shapes. FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept? PL: Cost and Material used. Combination of material used to apply at the same space. FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition? PL: To share with those who appreciate design. At the same times, it helps to promote our company and client's corporate too.
