FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
PW: This project searches for different experiences and visual conections through the museum tour. It explores its surroundings and only contemporary art allows it. It's a unique concept where it could only take place in a vivid cultural place.
FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
PW: Our research for this project started with a local visit to the site and the city so It was possible to understand where the building is located and its surroundings. Also, Buenos Aires has great museums and we tried to adapt ours to this scenario. During our research, it was clear to us that Puerto Madero is a renewed Buenos Aires and our project tries to relate to that by offering a space to contemporary art .
FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
PW: Participate in awards, exhibitions, publish it...if possible...build it!
FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
PW: The project started in June 2012. It was interrupted until January 2013 and finished on February of the same year. It was developed in Rio de Janeiro .
FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
PW: I'm very interested in museums, so it came from there.
FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
PW: Not yet.
FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
PW: The biggest challange was to think of a building that would not ''harm'' its surroundings and could also establish a conection with the "Puente de La Mujer, one of the main touristic spots of Buenos Aires.
