Interview with Jonathan Ramirez at Thursday 2nd of May 2024

FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
JR: The main principle behind the design of the Primavera Quirot brand was to reflect the unique identity and specialization of Dr. Primavera Quirot in aesthetic surgery. The inspiration came from blending her initials, P and Q, with the mathematical concept of the Golden Ratio icon, creating a logo that mirrors both her personality and dedication to the art of aesthetics.

FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
JR: Our main focus in designing the Primavera Quirot brand was to create a distinctive visual identity that embodies excellence and beauty in her professional practice of aesthetic surgery. We aimed to craft a logo that reflects Dr. Quirot's personality and dedication while ensuring it is visually appealing and memorable.

FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
JR: Our future plans for this award-winning design involve implementing it across various mediums such as stationery, social media, and other branding materials. We aim to help Dr. Primavera Quirot establish a unique and recognizable brand in the field of aesthetic surgery.

FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
JR: The project took approximately 4 weeks to complete: 1 week for strategy, 2 weeks for creativity, and 1 week for design.

FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
JR: This design was commissioned with the aim of creating a visual identity that reflects Dr. Primavera Quirot's unique identity and specialization in aesthetic surgery. We decided to blend her initials, P and Q, with the Golden Ratio icon to create a logo that is both distinctive and harmonious.

FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
JR: This design is being used by Dr. Primavera Quirot for her professional practice in aesthetic surgery.

FS: What made you design this particular type of work?
JR: The opportunity to create a visual identity for Dr. Primavera Quirot's professional practice in aesthetic surgery inspired us to design this particular type of work.

FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
JR: It was primarily created by our design team. Jonathan Ramirez Ceballos Head of Art and Design and Juliana Betancur Brand Creative Director

FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
JR: The target customers for this design are individuals seeking aesthetic surgery services.

FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
JR: What sets this design apart is the integration of Dr. Primavera Quirot's initials, P and Q, with the Golden Ratio icon, creating a logo that is both distinctive and harmonious.

FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
JR: The name "Primavera Quirot" is derived from the name of the client, Dr. Primavera Quirot, and reflects her unique identity and specialization in aesthetic surgery.

FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
JR: We used various Adobe software programs, such as Illustrator, Animate, After Effects and Photoshop, to create this brand design.

FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
JR: The most unique aspect of this design is the integration of Dr. Primavera Quirot's initials, P and Q, with the Golden Ratio icon, creating a logo that reflects both her personality and dedication to the art of aesthetics.

FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
JR: We primarily worked within our design team, which includes people with technical and specialized skills in graphic design, creativity and animation.

FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
JR: Technology plays a crucial role in this branding by providing the tools necessary to create a modern and long-lasting brand identity. By leveraging design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, we were able to blend Dr. Primavera Quirot's initials with the Golden Ratio icon, creating a visually appealing and memorable logo that reflects both her personality and dedication to the art of aesthetics.

FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
JR: Yes, our design is influenced by research on the Golden Ratio and its significance in art and aesthetics. We also conducted research on Dr. Primavera Quirot's unique identity and specialization in aesthetic surgery.

FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
JR: Some of the challenges we faced included finding the right balance between Dr. Primavera Quirot's initials and the Golden Ratio icon to create a logo that is both distinctive and harmonious.

FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
JR: We decided to submit our design to an international design competition because we believed it had the potential to stand out and be recognized internationally.

FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
JR: We learned a lot about the importance of research and planning in the design process, as well as the importance of teamwork in achieving the best possible results.

FS: Any other things you would like to cover that have not been covered in these questions?
JR: In an industry as competitive as aesthetics, it's crucial to stand out and convey a sense of premium quality. Our design aims to achieve just that by providing Dr. Primavera Quirot with a distinctive and harmonious brand identity that reflects her unique identity and specialization in aesthetic surgery. By blending her initials with the Golden Ratio icon, we've created a logo that exudes excellence and beauty, setting her practice apart from the competition.
