EA: I wanted to achieve a unique brand, where numbers with geometric shapes, within the golden ratio, could create a harmonious and complete form. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? EA: The plan is to promote it through all possible channels and use it as social proof of quality and creativity. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? EA: This project was developed in two month FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? EA: I sought inspiration from various Chinese designers who create artwork for each Chinese New Year. I aimed to apply a concept based on my client's requests, combined with a minimalist and modern design FS: What made you design this particular type of work? EA: What led to creating a project like this was the celebration of the institution's 35th anniversary and its entire journey. I accepted the challenge of developing a unique brand for this celebration FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work? EA: My reference was based on some Chinese New Year projects FS: Who is the target customer for his design? EA: The target client of my project was a religious institution, a church FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts? EA: What made the project unique was the generated concept. FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project? EA: It was used to develop this project, many hours of research, and attempts through sketches, after choosing the desired shape, I moved to Adobe Illustrator and photoshop to finalize the arts developed to present FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? EA: The most unique aspect of my project is how it fit perfectly with the new phase of the institution that requested the project. FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills? EA: I carried out this project alone. FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design? EA: Technology helped me a lot in research, referencing, and also to validate if it was in the form I wanted, ensuring it didn't resemble any other project. FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept? EA: The biggest challenge was to include an element that expresses Christianity alongside the logo. FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition? EA: I had signed up for the A'Design Award newsletter, and when the late registration came, I became interested and decided to take the risk of competing
