FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
FN: The main principle behind our design is to blend advanced technology with user-centric functionality. The inspiration stems from our passion for nautical innovation and a desire to enhance the overall user experience. We aimed to create a product that is not only high-performing but also embodies elegance and sophistication.

FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
FN: Our main focus was on creating a product that delivers exceptional performance while ensuring user safety and comfort. We aimed to achieve a balance between cutting-edge technology and intuitive design. The goal was to set new standards in the industry by offering a product that is robust, reliable, and visually appealing, ultimately enhancing the user's interaction with our brand.

FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
FN: We plan to expand the application of this design across our product range, ensuring that the innovative features and design principles are integrated into future models. Additionally, we aim to enhance the product through continuous research and development, incorporating feedback from users to refine and perfect our offerings. We also plan to explore collaborations with other industry leaders to push the boundaries of what is possible in nautical design.

FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
FN: The design process for this concept took approximately 18 months. This period included initial ideation, extensive research, prototyping, and rigorous testing. Our team dedicated countless hours to ensure that every aspect of the design met our high standards for quality and performance. The thorough and meticulous approach allowed us to refine the design and address any challenges that arose during development.

FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
FN: The idea for this design came from our CEO, who is passionate about both motorbike sports and the nautical space. He wanted to combine the excitement and performance of motorbikes with innovation of nautical design. This vision was not commissioned but driven by his personal inspiration to create a product that encapsulates both worlds in a unique and groundbreaking way.

FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
FN: We intend to produce this design in-house to maintain full control over quality and innovation. By keeping production within our company, we can ensure that every unit meets our stringent standards and preserves the integrity of the design. We believe this approach also allows us to respond more effectively to market needs and implement improvements swiftly.

FS: What made you design this particular type of work?
FN: The drive to design this product stemmed from our commitment to pushing the boundaries of nautical innovation. We saw an opportunity to create a product that not only meets the functional needs of our users but also elevates their overall experience. The desire to lead the industry in terms of technology, design, and user satisfaction motivated us to embark on this project.

FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
FN: Our design was influenced by a combination of industry trends and innovative technologies, particularly from the motorbike world. While we drew inspiration from leading designs in the nautical and automotive industries, the aesthetics and performance aspects of motorbikes also played a significant role. Our in-house team of designers and engineers was pivotal in shaping the final product with their expertise and creative vision.

FS: Who is the target customer for his design?
FN: The target customer for this design includes both recreational and professional users who demand high performance, reliability, and elegance from their nautical equipment. Additionally, it caters to sports enthusiasts who appreciate cutting-edge technology and refined aesthetics. Our product is ideal for everyone whether you seek an exhilarating ride or a fun and joyfull experience on the water.

FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
FN: There are no resembling concepts yet; it's been a journey of creating a new vehicle. Our design sets itself apart through the seamless integration of advanced technology, user-centric features, and a unique combination of motorbike and nautical design principles. The innovative dual electric powertrain, high-density removable batteries, and sleek aesthetics ensure that our product not only meets but exceeds user expectations, setting a new benchmark in the industry.

FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
FN: The name "Searider" was conceived to reflect the core essence of our product: a fusion of the thrilling experience of motorbike riding with all the fun of nautical adventures. "Rider" is derived from the motorbike world, symbolizing the agility, speed, and freedom that our product offers. By combining "Sea" and "Rider," we highlight the seamless blend of these two domains, emphasizing our commitment to creating a unique and exhilarating experience on the water.

FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
FN: We utilized a combination of advanced CAD software, 3D modeling tools, and simulation programs to design this project. These tools allowed us to create precise and detailed prototypes, conduct stress tests, and visualize the final product in various scenarios. Our use of cutting-edge design tools was crucial in achieving the high standards we set for this project.

FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
FN: For this design, we collaborated closely with our in-house team of engineers, designers, and technicians. Their specialized skills and expertise were pivotal in overcoming technical challenges and refining the product, ensuring our design met the highest standards of quality and functionality.

FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
FN: Technology plays a central role in our design, from the advanced dual electric powertrain to the high-density removable batteries. These technological innovations ensure superior performance, safety, and user convenience. Our use of cutting-edge materials and manufacturing processes further enhances the product's durability and efficiency, making it a standout in the nautical industry.

FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
FN: One of the main challenges was balancing advanced technology with user-friendly design. Ensuring the product's performance and reliability while maintaining a sleek and elegant appearance required significant engineering and design expertise. Additionally, developing the high-density removable batteries and dual electric powertrain posed technical challenges that our team successfully overcame through innovative solutions and rigorous testing.

FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
FN: We decided to submit our design to an international competition to showcase our innovation and craftsmanship on a global stage. The recognition from such a prestigious platform validates our efforts and commitment to excellence. It also provides an opportunity to receive valuable feedback from industry experts, helping us to continuously improve and innovate.

FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
FN: The design process taught us the importance of perseverance, collaboration, and attention to detail. We learned to face technical challenges creatively and to value the input of our multidisciplinary team.
