Interview with Mohsen Koofiani at Sunday 2nd of June 2024 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? MK: According to the name of the brand and the place of its formation, the designer has considered his ideas based on the stories and culture of that country. The use of characters and symbols of England is the main idea, which is displayed in the form of simplified characters on the packaging. FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? MK: The main focus of the designer is to coordinate the brand name with the design on the packaging. The designer has tried to create characters with simple characters, which are all symbols of the stories and culture of England. And by using different colors, it has displayed a different design style of the previous decades of that country. FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? MK: Now we will make the most of this opportunity to share it more with our audience and create exciting campaigns for this product series, considering that the plan is leading in the field of design. FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? MK: The point that is very important in creating a plan is to come up with an idea that can be implemented in a wide range of dimensions. The time spent on the idea of this plan was much more than its implementation. FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? MK: he packaging design was a planned and purposeful order. A different name behind which was the display of a culture. The elements used in the design each have different capabilities in the creation of a campaign, they can be the narrator of a separate story in the form of the main design. FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? MK: No, this is an exclusive project for Zarrin Ghazal company and all its legal interests belong to that company. FS: What made you design this particular type of work? MK: Studying and using the culture of that country has led the designer to use it. Remembering famous stories in this culture alone can be fascinating. FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work? MK: This project is individually conceived and designed. FS: Who is the target customer for his design? MK: According to the type of product and design style, it is clear that the main target is the youth and youth sector of the society. But the type of design will express the renewal of memories for adults. FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts? MK: Using busy and complicated designs is not always bad. Sometimes it makes you focus more to see it and see it better. FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project? MK: Illustrator software has been used to implement this project. FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? MK: The type of arrangement of colors (patterns) and the design style of the characters and their stories are among the features of the design. FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design? MK: Research and study have been done regarding the culture and stories of England. FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition? MK: The designer decided to send the design to the competition in order to show that cultures can be introduced along with advertising designs. to be evaluated by the big A competition and to share the design with all designers. FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work? MK: In this project, the designer went through the challenge of combining multiple colors together and in this project learned how to arrange multiple colors together and tries to make more efforts in this matter.
