X-Hale Campaign DesignX-Hale Campaign DesignX-Hale Campaign Design is a comprehensive virtual exhibition promotional campaign that emerged as an innovative response to the global pandemic, demonstrating the adaptability of artistic expression in challenging times. Created by visual director Yiwen Tu and assistant designer Shirong Gu, this sophisticated campaign utilizes 2.5D typography and iridescent color schemes to create a sense of fluidity and mystery, effectively communicating the exhibition's themes of possibility and dynamic change. The design encompasses a wide range of digital promotional materials, including logos, posters, banners, and graphic assets for live streaming, all carefully crafted to maintain visual coherence across multiple platforms and aspect ratios. The campaign's visual language creates a peaceful breathing movement through motion design, particularly evident in its square posters and quotes, which serve to attract audience attention while maintaining artistic integrity. This project, which commenced in July 2020 in New York and Beijing, represents a significant shift in art exhibition promotion, leveraging digital platforms to facilitate meaningful conversations between artists and audiences worldwide. The design's excellence was recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to virtual art promotion and its successful integration of technical expertise with creative vision. The campaign's visual elements effectively balance aesthetic appeal with functional communication, utilizing advanced production technologies including photoshop and Cinema 4D to create engaging content across various social media platforms and streaming services, ultimately serving as a bridge between artists and audiences during unprecedented times.
