Vanke Fontanelle Aesthetics Pavilion Experience CenterVanke Fontanelle Aesthetics Pavilion Experience CenterVanke Fontanelle Aesthetics Pavilion Experience Center is an exemplary architectural and interior design achievement located in the Keqiao District of Shaoxing, China, renowned for its innovative integration of traditional silk aesthetics with contemporary spatial design. This sophisticated exhibition and sales center, completed in June 2020, masterfully combines the poetic scenery of southern China with the artistic ambience of the Apennine Peninsula, occupying a strategic fan-shaped site of 3,000 square meters on a lakeside intersection. The interior space, spanning 600 square meters, features a linear progression that harmoniously connects with the surrounding landscape through transparent French windows and thoughtfully positioned skylights, maximizing natural daylight utilization and energy efficiency. The design, which earned the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases an exceptional synthesis of form and function through its ribbon-like architectural volume and flowing water yard aesthetic. Distinguished by its sophisticated material palette, including gray stone and carefully curated silk elements, the space incorporates various functional zones such as negotiation areas, a book bar, and a water bar, all arranged along a linear plane that optimizes spatial flow. The interior's artistic elements, including silk-shaped installations, specially grained stone countertops, and traditional Shaoxing round fan installations, create a dynamic dialogue between cultural heritage and modern design sensibilities. The project's success lies in its ability to transform a limited space into an expansive experience through refined lines, strategic lighting, and a progressive garden-style circulation route that emphasizes an axis-based spatial sequence, effectively demonstrating how contemporary design can honor local cultural traditions while advancing modern architectural practices.
