PII Fit Space Design

PII Fit Space Design is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the fusion of futuristic aesthetics with functional fitness space architecture, created by designers Yongzhi Yang and Fulong Huang. This 2000-square-meter facility, completed in 2019, represents a groundbreaking approach to contemporary gym design, drawing inspiration from the visual aesthetics of science fiction cinema, particularly the film Tron: Legacy. The space is characterized by its distinctive use of black as a base color complemented by integrated line lighting systems, creating an immersive and technologically advanced exercise environment. The design incorporates sophisticated sound insulation solutions to ensure peaceful coexistence with neighboring facilities, while featuring advanced fitness equipment throughout the venue. Notable technological elements include a spinning room with 180-degree wide-angle seamless projection capabilities and a HOLOFITS room equipped with interactive touch screens on both walls and floors. The facility's thoughtful design extends to gender-specific considerations, with areas like the Pilates room featuring a starry sky ceiling with pink lighting for a more feminine aesthetic, while maintaining the overall futuristic theme. The project, which was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to material selection, utilizing lamp belts, acrylic plates, and stainless steel structures to ensure durability and ease of maintenance while creating a striking visual impact that appeals to young urban clientele seeking a unique fitness experience.
